Welcome to Craigendmuir Caravan and Camping Site situated within the new Red Deer Village Residential Park Homes development. Craigendmuir Park benefits from a new entrance built using 200 year old reclaimed blonde sandstone with secure gated entry system with intercom for immediate entry day or night as well as CCTV cameras for your complete peace of mind.
About Us
Craigendmuir Park is conveniently situated on the doorstep of Glasgow, just off the A80, one of Scotland’s main arterial routes to the North. The Park is also easily accessed by those without motor transport, by rail and by bus from Glasgow.
The level and spacious site is ideal for anyone looking for the ideal base for a holiday in and around West Central Scotland, or as a stopover for a few days whilst touring.
Craigendmuir Park was established over 40 years ago by the original owners and the touring area of the park was established in 1988. The park was purchased from the original owners by John and Ivan Hendry in 2004 and work
began on completely upgrading the touring area. All work carried out has been to a very high standard and the park was rewarded by Visit Scotland offering us a 4 star rating in 2008. However as work to the new entrance to Red Deer Village was at an early stage we chose to remain a 3 star rating. We are delighted to announce that Visit Scotland has again rated our Park 4 stars, during their most recent inspection in October 2011, which we are delighted to accept this year, this making us Glasgow's No.1 Camping Site. Everyone involved on the park are delighted to see their hard work being rewarded and are now striving to achieve 5 star award.

Although located in North Lanarkshire, the vibrant and exciting City of Glasgow is within easy reach - by bus, rail or car. For those looking for something more active, the Time Capsule, a water and ice experience, plus Strathclyde Country Park, Scotland’s first theme park are nearby attractions. A state of the art Bannatynes Gym is just a 10 minute walk from the site
